If some of those conversations are ones you currently pay an interpreter for, this is what a shift would be worth against your own annual spend.
This is arithmetic on your own number, not a saving we are promising. It shows what a given shift would be worth if it happened, so a finance colleague has something to test. What actually moves depends on your case mix, your contract rates and which conversations shift. We will not put a percentage on that before we have seen your data, and we would be wary of anyone who does.
Worth saying: the aim is not to spend less on interpreters. It is to use them where only a person will do, and to cover the conversations that currently get nothing.
Choose an annual interpreting spend band above and this will show what a 5%, 10% or 15% shift would be worth against it. We use the band midpoint and show the arithmetic – nothing is sent anywhere.
