What an award is and is not
An award panel assesses a submission. It does not run a clinical evaluation, and we would not present it as though it had. The claims that matter clinically are set out on the Evidence page with their sample, setting and method attached.
What this list is useful for is a different question: whether independent people, repeatedly and separately, have looked at this closely and concluded it was worth recognising.
