We’re absolutely thrilled to share that CardMedic has been awarded funding by SBRI Healthcare! This incredible milestone fills our entire team with both gratitude and renewed purpose.
This award reinforces our commitment to improving patient safety and tackling health inequalities through our transformative healthcare language portal.
CardMedic instantly connects caregivers and patients to essential language services and provides clinically approved solutions in one place, at the point of care and on any device.
The funding was open to companies and organisations from the private, public, and third sectors, including large corporates, SMEs and NHS providers. SBRI engaged with clinicians and stakeholders providing care across the spectrum to identify solutions that could:
- Enable better access to care
- Reduce hospital stays and improve discharge
- Support the healthcare workforce
Nine such innovative companies were successful, of which CardMedic was one.
Co-founder Tim Grimaldi shared his personal reaction to the news: “This funding means everything to our team at CardMedic. We’ve seen firsthand how devastating communication barriers can be in healthcare settings. This support will help us bring our solution to more patients and healthcare workers who desperately need better ways to connect.”
